If a teacher works for an hour in Kenya, China, USA, England, India or anywhere else on earth and gets paid 20-globotokens (a currency that holds the same value across the globe) that has the exact same purchasing power anywhere on earth and if we standardise across all professions and all forms of work, we will be taking the first step in human history, towards addressing all problems currently facing humanity.
You cannot address poverty, migration, intolerance or any of the key issues society is presently grappling with, if we do not first establish parity and a level playing field…
Obviously never going to happen. We would rather hand out loans to poor countries (same as we do with the poor in society) with no chance of them ever getting out from under that burden..
Nobody truly want equality, we just talk about it and utter empty words….
If you don’t want a caravan of migrants heading to the US, help make their lives worthwhile where they are… create a global standard of remuneration that will level up the world and create a new outlook to life..
I can see economists falling out of their seats, yelling: IMPOSSIBLE! But, surely, there was a time when the dollar, pound, euro etc. weren’t in existence right?
