’The left’! Who exactly are these supposedly horrible ‘left’?

What exactly is the left accused of? What are these supposed leftie villains all about?

If you say: “we are all human beings” so, let us be human to asylum seekers and those seeking refuge, even if some of them are economic migrants mixing in. YOU ARE A LEFTIE!

If you ask for social equality and for a system where all the wealth does not sit in the hands of a few, with everyone else living in poverty. YOU ARE SAID TO BE THE LEFT

If you speak against forced separation of children from their parents at the borders – as America recently did. YOU ARE A LEFTIE

If you ask that the world try to avoid rushing to war at every opportunity. You are said to be naive and ARE A LEFTIE

If you advocate for a system where everyone can access a minimum level of health service, not live in poverty, you are apparently a LEFTIE

If you plead that public discourse and all conversations avoid insults and abusive language that demonise others, you are definitely a LEFTIE

If ask that the police in America try not to always draw their guns and shoot people dead (perhaps they can try shooting a lot lower e.g. feet?) and try to reduce the number of incidents of minorities ending up dead even when they are the ones who call the police for help. You are a LEFTIE

If you ask for some thought with regards changes we are all witnessing relating to the climate. You are a LEFTIE

If you ask that countries, especially the larger one like the USA, try to see the world as a whole and not always just about America, you are slapped with the LEFTIE tag

So, perhaps one could conclude that in order to avoid being called a LEFTIE, one just needs to be horrible, use foul language, dehumanise the unfortunate migrants, be self-centred, be ok with the police in the US bumping off any number of unarmed civilians and not give a damn about the climate changing before our very eyes.
