… which afflicts one of his friends. That is how the world should live. It is the way we should each see others: as human beings. Instead, it’s carnage everywhere you look: children dying of hunger, killings left, right and centre. Needless wars. People trafficking. This weekend was people calling Puerto Rico a floating island of garbage, viewing migrants as trash (they are still human; regardless of whether or not many of them are exploiting the system instead of trying to come in by legal means). We are forever trying to incite division, hatred…. all for what exactly????
