Democracy bought? Get real folks! Yes, spending over $1billion every 4 years to elect a leader is strange. But….

Democracy bought? Nonsense!
It is exactly what it’s always been…

We (human beings) are despicable!
We are what we are….

If you follow the money trail, you will find that the obscene amount of money raised by those vying to be president of the United States, is not spent on aliens! It is spent on, and earned by, the same people complaining about it. They buy merchandise, adverts, event venue rentals etc. So, in essence, the money is poured back in…

If you have a 2-party system (i.e. the main parties), one will win some, the other will lose some. As such, the claim that democracy is bought, is not accurate. It is just bizarre that they can’t place a firm limit of say, $100m on each election cycle, be it from directs or PACs and Super PACs, they should say that no candidate can exceed a combined spend of $100m. It really is, most unfortunate, if people are visiting food banks and there are homeless people on the streets of America, while candidates vying to be president, raise and spend heinous amounts of money. Albeit, if you follow the money, most of it probably filters back in. Same for the complaints about the £millions the UK government are said to be spending on illegal migrants: well, follow the money! Who owns the hotels that they are paying £millions to house those migrants? Who owns the catering companies feeding them? List all the other services tied to and are earning fees from all that? And the ordinary people those firms hire…..

Sadly, nobody wants to get those facts in the open, as it kills the arguments that they want to push e.g. democracy is being bought!
