Take a look at the politicians – around the world – who are always talking about the existence of a deep state and you will almost feel like they are all one and the same person! They see something to be angry about at every turn! If there are no migrants, they will fume about Europe. If there’s no Europe they will fume about wokeness. If there is no wokeness, they will find something else to fume about!
We are now talking about World War 3 as if it was just a casual fisticuff behind the local pub! This evening I read a statement from a senior NATO official, asking business leaders to start preparing for a war scenario. Jeez!!! Should we not all be talking about the idiocy of war and how it solves nothing!!! Should we not be seeking urgent means of de-escalation?
It is virtually impossible to understand how supposedly “developed” countries can care so little for the loss of life that results from armed conflict. Are these soldiers not sons & daughters of someone? Yes, it was their choice to join the armed forces, but they shouldn’t be seen to be so dispensable! I can understand countries trying to flex their military muscle etc., and many folk on the news (and politicians) come up with reasons why war is inevitable in some instances. But for goodness sake! Can we at least try NOW, to take a step back and stop this idiocy??!!!
It is however not at all difficult to see why we end up in these situations. When we celebrate intolerance and allow crazy folk to continually whip up hatred, instigate riots, ignore facts and just make up stuff etc.
Knowledge can improve the world we live in
