Disagreeing with politicians and taking opposing views is as old as the hills. I get all that. It’s not going to change. But delighting in their failure and willing them to fail, is counterproductive.
Past few months has been Rachel Reeves, Chancellor of the Exchequer (i.e. our Finance Minister in the UK). It seems she just can’t win! Yes, she may be stubborn and not doing what some folk want her to do or how they would like to see her do it. But for goodness sakes!!!! Give the woman a chance!!!!!! She’s only been in there a few months. If she fails, so many poor people will suffer even more!
I appreciate that people want to say she isn’t as bright as she thinks she is, or that her choices were wrong etc., but would we not rather she was right and the country get back to prosperous times???
We’ve lost the plot as a society!!! Jeez!!!!!
It’s the same as the situation in the US: they’ve had an election, the outcome may not be what some want, but it is what it is. Bizarre as some of the nominations for high office appear to be, would you not rather they did well? It helps nobody if they don’t do well. Ok, you get to say: “told you so?”…. what does that avail?
