This may well be the worst of times….

Parental responsibility has been totally discarded. We expect governments to take care of everything. I just read this morning that it appears another car may have driven into a crowd in Germany. Do we ban cars? How many bollards will we need to erect? Nobody wants to accept that the weapon used, is not the problem; it is the individual who is willing to use the weapon that’s the problem!
We are now in an era where there is little to no regard for human life. You have a bunch of people on the internet, constantly typing up insults, abuse, intolerance etc. Not caring for a second, how it impacts the people they target. Even if confronted with the fact that their abuse has led to some people committing suicide, they carry on regardless, as they don’t care.
Ban kitchen knives with pointed ends, that’s supposedly the next solution to the incessant spate of stabbing deaths in London. What next? ban screwdrivers, hammers etc? These children see their parents spewing hate online, on the streets, wherever. There is no form of training left. Teachers in schools are no longer convincing, as many of them are probably spewing hate in the evenings online themselves – yes, it cuts right across society, it isn’t just the illiterates, and it sure ain’t aliens!
When we all sit back and watch on, as thousands get killed in wars around the world and we make all sorts of excuses. It was their fault or their fault… does it really matter whose fault it is??? We just need to try to drive back up, the value of human life. If we can, perhaps these people driving cars into crowds or handing guns to their teenage kids who then head off to school to gun down their classmates and teachers, may hesitate. If we continue to treat human life as of such low value, with our kids growing up believing they can just act as they like…

These are indeed horrific times!!

an everyday professional wondering (as many others do daily) what all the animosity is all about? we all came with nothing (as babies), didn’t choose where we popped out and we will all leave (when we die) with nothing.
