Repeating our mistakes is perhaps the only human consistency…

You can almost guarantee that whatever we have gotten wrong in the past, gets sickeningly repeated.

Is this not exactly how the world got carved up in years gone by? With what began as adventures and expeditions, turning into land grab, empires etc.

So, what are we complaining about?

Would we have Australia, Canada, USA, New Zealand …. and the list goes on….?

Off to the Moon, Mars, rest of space… No rules, no protocol, countries who can, just rush in.

Ukraine is today’s hot topic, but nobody seems interested in what the actual issues in Ukraine are. It’s turned into a carve-up! Land, rare minerals, gratitude and ingratitude, this is the exact reason war solves nothing! Ukrainians must now be wondering what exactly they have lost 46,000 lives for? The land they say they were fighting to defend will be carved up. Their rare minerals auctioned off. People may seek to criticise American and yes, the recent press conference shouting match was cringeworthy, but is this not in keeping with exactly how these situations end up? Did anyone ever think all the $billions pumped into Ukraine to fight Russia will just get written off as freebies? The only real horror here, is that we all continue to stand by as wars begin, we watch thousands die, then we get on our sanctimonious pedestals to begin pointing out what’s supposedly right or wrong. Where was the real effort, the genuine effort to prevent this war from starting? It ends in a carve-up. Plus 46,000 Ukrainian lives on top…
