Finding a way to end the war in Ukraine is a good thing. But… but what?

… but we don’t like the person trying to end the war?

….. but we think there is an alternative, better way of ending the war?

…. but, but, but….. but what?

human beings are insufferable at times!!

There are no ‘buts’…

if others had a better way to end the war, a better compromise, what on earth were they holding it back for???? why hadn’t they tried to sort it???

If there was an easy, tidy, ‘everyone’s a winner’ way to end a war, would there have been a war to begin with? Nope!

It is always so easy to criticise…

You see people sit in meetings not tabling any ideas, not making any suggestions. But the minute someone puts a thought, an idea, forward or makes a suggestion, EVERYONE pile on! They will suddenly have a better suggestion. They will have a tweak that can improve that idea…..

What exactly is the endpoint the world was waiting for? Either side winning?

Yes, the world is complex and majority of us, do not have a millionth of an idea of what’s really going on. I haven’t got the foggiest! But what I do know, is that wars do not appear to achieve anything. As such, we should always try to find a compromise that prevents wars or ends an ongoing war. And you can be certain, when someone takes a step to try to end a war, many will criticise and out pops all sorts of supposedly better ways to do it…..

an everyday professional wondering (as many others do daily) what all the animosity is all about? we all came with nothing (as babies), didn’t choose where we popped out and we will all leave (when we die) with nothing.
