Rory McIlroy – well done! Finally, his nightmare is over…

There is a very clear lesson there for kids to learn. Or rather, several lessons…

The most important of those lessons is: NEVER PUT NEEDLESS PRESSURE ON YOURSELF! All ends in vanity!!!

You look at the likes of Colin Montgomery, excellent golfer & human being. He never won a single major. Unbelievable right? But, so what? He was and still is, an excellent golfer!

We create these arbitrary measures, these arbitrary barriers…

Rory had to complete a career slam of majors. Why?

Well, he got sucked into it. And it became a millstone around his neck! He would have won the US Masters years and years ago, without this idiotic statistic hampering him! And yesterday, he nearly caved under the pressure yet again. Thankfully, he held his nerve. He will now foolishly think it is all over, and he’s free of this nightmare. But only if he refuses to get dragged into this mindless statistical drivel again!

By tomorrow, someone will come up with some other milestone! If he’s foolish enough to get sucked in again, fine! Some call it motivation. But for goodness sake! ……
