If only people calling for the preservation of the British way of life can do it the correct way?!

I am not sure many people would want to move to the UK if it didn’t offer what they didn’t have where they’ve come from. Correct?

So, in the 1950s, 60s, 70s, people from the Caribbean and other commonwealth nations moved to help with the rebuild (post-war). Yes, they faced brutal conditions and some intolerance when they got here, but by and large, they tried to fit in.

Calls to preserve the British way of life is indeed very necessary. It is what many moved here for. But confusing that and mixing it up with hate and racism etc., is what’s defeating the purpose. It should have been made mandatory (but now it is perhaps too late) for anyone moving to the UK, to be prepared to live here the way it is here; no littering, no forced marriages etc. This should not be negotiable.

Unfortunately, when the cause is now championed by semi-illiterates, who will make some sense one minute and the next minute they are spouting racist stuff, it becomes indefensible and the purpose is lost. And we end up where we are today, a nation of 70million people worrying so much about 40,000 illegal migrants rowing rubber boats across the channel annually! Yes, it is not right for people to just wade in, BUT seriously?! It should not make national headlines! If we can get the country back on its feet (which is what the government should focus on) and people in jobs etc., then the matter of 40,000 migrants rowing in annually, should be trivial! Yes, it must stop and must be addressed, but not as a national, topical issue that it has now become!
We must be better!

Britain was a very nice place in the 90s, it needs to be back on its feet, with jobs, harmony, reduction in intolerance & hatred. And anyone moving here should be willing to live here the way we do, or go elsewhere if they want a different way of life

an everyday professional wondering (as many others do daily) what all the animosity is all about? we all came with nothing (as babies), didn’t choose where we popped out and we will all leave (when we die) with nothing.
